2 tablespoons flour
1-2 beef bouillon cubes
1 cup boiling water
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Dissolve the bouillon cube(s) in the boiling water; add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and ketchup. Mix well and pour into the beef mixture, stirring to mix. Spoon
into a greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Rice or mash the boiled potatoes and spread on top. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
Put under broiler briefly to brown potatoes on top.
Serves 6
Note:
Cooked peas and/or carrots can be put into the dish as bottom layer if deired. In England this is often made with left over
cooked lamb. If so, grind meat and use only 1 tablespoon flour. This is an old English country recipe.
